Pastelmat® by Clairefontaine - Glued Pads

The pastel adheres so well to Pastelmat^® that you don't need to use a fixative between each layer. You are able to multiply the layers without a saturation effect. Pastelmat^® brings new opportunities for pastel artists, offering a coarser surface than velour but a softer surface than sand paper.

In the pads, each sheet is protected by a crystal paper divider. Rub out or wet the paper, Pastelmat^® keeps its original properties. The paper supports also wet techniques such as alcohol without affecting its texture or its hanging surface.
